Project Manager

Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a Civil Engineering firm on the appointment of a Project Manager with a deep knowledge of groundworks/civils to work on a number of residential projects throughout Dublin.

Responsibilities in your new role:

  • Manage and supervise daily site operations with site manager, ensuring work progresses according to programme, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Site Manager to procure the labour, materials, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Lead Health & Safety onsite, implementing and enforcing company and statutory safety procedures, carrying out site audits, risk assessments, and ensuring toolbox talks are done.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements, providing technical guidance where necessary.
  • Liaise with clients, design teams, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor site progress, produce progress reports, and address any issues impacting schedule or budget.
  • Oversee quality control measures, carrying out inspections and resolving construction issues promptly.
  • Support project close-out, including handover documentation, and final inspections.

What you will need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
